Business Continuity – Recovery Instructions
Scenario
Covid-19 Emergency Contingency Plan.

Instructions
Staff Self Isolating – while staff are
self-isolating it is likely that they remain healthy enough to continue it support
work from home. At which point they will use either their own device or a
device provided to them by C Data. This will ensure that C Data clients are still
able to receive remote support.
Staff Infected (minor) – where an individual is confirmed sick C Data management
will take a view on whether to close the office. Where the office becomes
closed staff will be sent home to work remotely. The usual number will be
redirected to the C Data front desk, whereupon your call will be allocated to
an engineer. , however the specific nature of the call may require some
additional call forwarding to get you through to the correct member of staff. C
Data will use MS Teams to co-ordinate your query, it is therefore likely that
call times will increase slightly while we organise your support.
Staff Infected (Serious) – In the event that multiple members of the team are
unwell the office will be closed. The phone number will remain active and clients
will be able to use the front desk to connect to the available support
engineers.
Onsite visits – Call outs to client sites will only be permitted on a case by
case basis, avoiding use of public areas and public transport to minimise the
risk of further spread.
Further Information
It is assumed in this scenario that all C Data’s email, file and business process data will continue to be available through the various gateway services already in place. Our staff have been asked to ensure that they satisfy themselves that they have all they need to perform their functions from home.
